SCO Partners, Resellers and Customers Support the Release of UnixWare(R) 7.1.4

LINDON, Utah, Jul 19, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- The SCO Group, Inc. (SCO) (Nasdaq: SCOX), today announced industry support and adoption of UnixWare 7.1.4, the newest version of SCO's high-end, flagship operating system. Many OEMs and ISVs have either completed, or are in the process of certifying, their hardware and software for UnixWare 7.1.4. The availability of certified solutions gives customers the assurance that vendors have embraced UnixWare and recognize it as an important platform for their customer base.

Channel partners are responding to customer demand for the new features in UnixWare 7.1.4 and are taking advantage of UnixWare training offered by SCO. The training programs are designed to assist veteran UnixWare channel partners update their skills to encompass the new features, as well as offer training to new UnixWare channel partners.
